The legendary Hollywood actor Kirk Douglas died Wednesday at the age of 103.
Douglas was best known for his roles in “Spartacus,” “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” “Paths of Glory” and “Lust for Life” and earned three Academy Award nominations. He won an honorary Oscar for lifetime achievement. His career began on the stage, and he began appearing in movies in the 1940s. His first film was “The Strange Love of Martha Ivers.” He continued getting starring roles in the 1950s and 1960s with his most famous one being “Spartacus.” As he got older, he turned to the other side of the camera becoming a producer and director.
