We can send man to moonbut not masks to doctors
We can send a man to the moon. But we can’t even get COVID-19 test kits to the American people; the protective masks or respirators to the nurses and doctors and first-responders; or the ventilators to the hospitals on the front lines of combating COVID-19. This is shameful.
The World Health Organization just announced that the United States has the potential to become the epicenter of COVID-19.
The White House’s response to COVID-19 has been poor at best. Initially, Trump claimed that Democrats’ criticism of his response the virulent coronavirus was a “hoax” to damage him and his administration. Trump claimed that COVID-19 was President Barack Obama’s fault. Then it called it the “Chinese virus,” a racist term to cover up the White House’s own failures.
COVID-19 is virulent and dangerous. We must take COVID-19 seriously. We must demand that the White House and all levels of government combat COVID-19 aggressively to protect the public health and save lives.
Dr. Anthony Fauci deserves the Nobel Prize for speaking the truth about COVID-19.
