The memorial service for Sen. Dianne Feinstein is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at San Francisco City Hall.
The service was at one time intended to be open to the public, but on Wednesday the late senator’s office announced attendance would be restricted.
“Due to a larger than expected security perimeter, today’s memorial service at City Hall is no longer open to the general public. You will be unable to see or hear the program from outside the perimeter,” the office said.
