Members of the public can pay their respects to Sen. Dianne Feinstein — the longest-serving female senator in American history — at San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Doors will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlett Place, and visitors will be able to sign a condolence book.
The following day, a funeral service for the senator will be held at 1 p.m. on the front steps of San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlett Place. This outdoor service is also open to the public, with standing room available in the Civic Center Plaza.
The livestream of the event, which was previously scheduled for viewing, has been cancelled.
Feinstein will then be buried in a private, family-only ceremony following Thursday’s funeral service.
